Special Agent Daniel Gaitan, FBI Private Sector Coordinator

SA Daniel Gaitan is the Private Sector Coordinator (PSC) for the FBI's Miami Division.  In his role as PSC, SA Gaitan strives to protect our nation’s economy and national security by strengthening the FBI’s relationships with the U.S. private sector. SA Gaitan possesses 18 years of extensive FBI investigative experience in Criminal matters, National Security, and International relations.   In 2015, SA Gaitan served as FBI Headquarters Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) assigned to the Directorate of Intelligence, Human Intelligence Operations Section. SA Gaitan managed Confidential Human Source (CHS) recruitment, vetting, and development. From 2017 to 2020, SA Gaitan served as Assistant Legal Attaché located in Mexico City, Mexico. SA Gaitan developed and maintained numerous liaison contacts representing international law enforcement counterparts, international business partners, as well as other government agencies.  SA Gaitan oversaw multiple programs including Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, White-Collar Crimes, Narcotics trafficking, Kidnapping for Ransom, and Fugitive Extraditions. Prior to the FBI, SA Gaitan worked in the Banking and Finance industry. SA Gaitan received his Master’s Degree in Finance from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Business Management from Texas State University.

Vito Roselli former FBI Agent now Consultant 

Vito Roselli is the founder and President of VDR Investigations, based in Plantation, Florida. Vito built his investigative and security consulting business by engaging nationwide subject matter experts (SME) in forensic accounting, general investigations, intelligence analysis, social media exploitation, forensic sciences, physical and information security assessments, and executive protection. 

Vito's expertise comes from a 26-year FBI career earning numerous awards and commendations from law enforcement and private sectors. Most recently Vito was a Senior Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) in charge of the FBI’s South Jersey Resident Agency overseeing special agents, intelligence analysts, professional staff, and multiple joint agency task forces. SSA Roselli represented the FBI to community partners, public and private industry sectors, and 78 police departments. 

He was responsible for the administration and operations concerning all aspects of the FBI mission including gangs and violent crime, complex financial crime, illicit cyber intrusions, online child exploitation, and more. Vito ran FBI Philadelphia’s Human Intelligence & Special Operations program while overseeing source recruitment and intelligence agency cooperation to address nation-state cyber intrusions, criminal enterprises, Foreign Counterintelligence, International Terrorism, and National Security threats.

Vito previously was assigned to FBI Headquarters and managed a multimillion-dollar budget disseminated VCU field guidance, conducted semi-annual compliance audits of field divisions’ VC programs, and collaborated with Interpol on international investigations and fugitive matters. Prior to his promotion to HQ, Vito was a highly regarded Special Agent (SA) for almost 20 years, assigned to FBI Philadelphia Division’s violent crime and gang programs. SA Roselli arrested well over 200 of the nation’s most violent offenders and dismantled several transnational criminal enterprises. He was also selected for two deployments to Iraq where he was embedded as an interrogator with the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and was assigned top-priority enemy targets and was a contributor to terror cell destruction.  

Prior to his FBI career, Vito was a Lieutenant and Operations Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard where he conceived and executed joint U.S. and foreign services operational missions, trained U.S. and foreign security assets in law enforcement and security operations, and facilitated maritime undercover endeavors with FBI, DEA, and U.S. Customs Service (USCS). Vito collected a Commendation Medal, two Achievement medals, and numerous unit awards. Vito is a Certified Fraud Examiner and licensed Florida private investigator. Vito earned an officer’s commission and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (1988), and a Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security from George Washington University (2018).
