Cyber Security’s Edge for Toda y’s Corporate Battlefield
Cybersecurity is in a crisis. Billions of dollars get invested yearly to defend state secrets, corporate networks, and individual privacy. Yet we see high-profile secur ity breaches hitting the news almost every day. Security has become a neve r-ending cat-and-mouse game with high-speed change and innovation required. In this age of increasing remote work and distributed teams, automation a nd artificial intelligence (AI) have become even more essential for securit y teams and corporate boards. Yet, not all AI is created equal. In this s ession, Yuda Saydun, Founder of CyVent, will look at two of the most-used A I technologies—machine learning and deep learning—and hig hlight the differences between them.
About th e Speaker:
Mr. Yuda Saydun, Founder and President of CyVent, a cybersecurity advisory firm, and solutions provider . (CyVent helps security teams accelerate their transition to an AI-driven preventive posture focused on pre-empting breaches and automating security operations.) Following his earlier career as an executive at American Expr ess, Tech Data, ClimeCo, and Xerox BPO, Yuda started and scaled multiple bu sinesses, launched dozens of new technology products, and oversaw IT servic e offerings. He holds certificates in data science and cybersecurity from Johns Hopkins and Harvard, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson, where he was reco gnized as one of the “Top 100 Inspirational Alumni” of the School’s 75 year s. Having been a mentor, founder, officer, and investor in tech companies, Yuda is also a past Chair of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council’s Technology Committee, a me mber of the Advisory Board at the Institu te for Data Science and Computing, and an advisor at Strata.ai.
